Author Guidelines

Authors who want to submit a paper should register on the journal's site (pay attention to check "enrol as author") and upload the file of the article in pdf format.

The manuscript should contain the author's full name, address and e-mail address, AMS 2010 Subject Classification and keywords. A short summary in English should precede the text. References should be given in alphabetical order, labelled by numbers.

It is necessary that manuscripts have not been already published and have not been simultaneously submitted elsewhere. All articles will be sent by the editors to a referee for peer review.

In case of acceptance the authors are requested to write the final version of their article in LaTex adapted to the (LaTex) class lematema.cls of the journal. Examples can be found in lematest-en.tex, lematest-it.tex, lematest-en.bib. 

Then the authors will send the LaTex file and the respective pdf file of the final version, by e-mail, to the address lematema@dmi.unict.it .

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
