Some relations between duality theory for extremum problems and variational inequalities
Abstract
After revisiting the well-known relationship with the minimax theory, some duality results for constrained extremum problems are related to variational inequalities. In particular, the connection with saddle point conditions and gap functions associated to the variational inequality are analysed.The authors retain all rights to the original work without any restrictions.
