On the evolution of ordinary discontinuity and characteristic shocks
Abstract
The evolution laws of ordinary discontinuity and characteristic shacks are derived using the kinematic and geometric of singular surfaces. Application to contact discontinuity in gas dynamics and to Alfvén shocks are made.Downloads
